To meditate means to go home to yourself.
Such a poetic way to illustrate the transformative benefit of meditation.
Here is one to try:
1️⃣ Sit upright in a chair with your feet on the ground
2️⃣ Close your eyes and take a deep breath bringing your attention to your feet
3️⃣ Slowly move your attention up one leg, then the other, then your hips, torso, chest, neck, head, down one arm and hand and finally down the other arm and hand
4️⃣ If you get to an area where you would label as “painful” or “sore”, say “hello” to the area. Many times, that sensation is trying to get your attention. You can say “hello” out loud or in your mind.
5️⃣ Once you finish with your whole body, take a deep breath
6️⃣ Open your eyes
Advanced level:
✨✨ After you say “hello” to the sensation, ask it if it has a message for you. Trust what you hear.
This is the beginning of opening up to your internal guidance.
With this, you can take inspired action to manifest your dreams.
